Diana has loved every event by PRSSA so far, but if she had to pick one it would probably be the President’s Panel event back in the fall. She said it was great listening to the three PRSSA past presidents and what advice they had for us about the PR industry and it set her freshman year off to a great start. Career-wise, she wants to go into the entertainment communication field and promote new media and spread the good rather than the bad. She’d also really like to move to NYC after graduation!

unnamed (3)Introducing senior and PR/Strat comm major, Allie Erenbaum! Allie is originally from New Orleans however she’s actually lived in eight different places! She joined PRSSA last semester and her favorite memory was attending the “A Night with PRSSA” event. She loved how the speed networking workshop touched on a variety of different aspects of career development with successful professionals in the field. In terms of post graduation plans, she’s hoping to land a job in D.C. at a large agency, ideally working in the social change and digital strategy space.

unnamedMeet Bryce Ballard! He is a sophomore from Rockville, MD, majoring in PR/Strat Comm with minors in Entertainment Business and Psychology. He joined PRSSA the fall of his freshman year. His favorite PRSSAmemory so far was attending “Hyper Network: How Networking is Changing”. He says “The four panelists gave awesome advice on the proper channels to go about networking in the advent of the digital age, as well as some tips about the proper etiquette to go about professional communication on these platforms. After the event ended, I went back to my room and stayed up until 1am creating and polishing my LinkedIn. The best part was that the speakers networked with us after, so that was great to learn more about them and the companies they worked for.”

Fun Fact: He was born breech and c-section!

unnamed (1)Meet Valerie Gudino from Manhasset, New York. She joined PRSSA her first semester freshman year. Her favorite memory with PRSSA was attending the presidents panel, because it inspired her to get further involved with our organization. In general, the panels have been her favorite because she gets to hear how PRSSA has had an impact on past presidents lives, as well as what they have done since graduating. She also loves going to Eagle Comm and meeting the new client, and creating media lists.

Fun fact: She has been a vegetarian since 6th grade, she loves spicy food, she can’t do any homework without a highlighter, and she loves to draw portraits!

unnamed (2)Meet Jenna Jarosinski! She is a freshman double majoring in Political Science and PR/Strat Comm. Since joining PRSSA this past January, she has really enjoyed attending our chapter meetings, especially when Green Buzz Agency founder, Todd Plotkin joined us. She left that meeting inspired to learn new mediums through which to communicate. Jenna’s favorite DC restaurant is Cactus Cantina. You can also follow her on Twitter and Instagram at Jenna_Jarosinsk. Fun Fact- Josh Green lives ten minutes away from her house in Fisher, IN!
